The NWOL Academie Militare
The Military Academy of the Napoleonic
Wars Online (NWOL) teaches new NWOL players the rules of the game,
prior to their first NWOL game. The Academy will ultimately offer four
courses, one for each of the four modules of NWOL. At present, only the
courses for Gathered in Their Masses (GITM), the land warfare module,
and Placed Alongside the Enemy (PATE) are
available.
The GITM Academy Course
The GITM Academy course is open to players who wish to play NWOL. The
Academy course is designed for players who have not participated in any
previous NWOL game.
To ensure that your progress is tracked and you are enrolled in the end
of course force-on-force cadet game, send an email to
the
Academy
Commandant. Cadets are strongly encouraged to join the Historical
Online Learning Foundation Players Guild (go here) where news of
current and future NWOL games is announced.
