Contact Orders Limitations

In PATE, the contact orders that a unit can have may be changed to match other orders it is carrying out. Those changes include:

Order	Changes to contact order
Raid enemy commerce	Must be in pursuit mode to raid enemy commerce. Contact order will be changed to pursuit if you order raid.
Protect friendly commerce	Must be accept mode to protect friendly commerce. Contact order will be changed to accept if you order protect commerce.

There are other times where a ship's contact orders may prevent it from doing other things you wish it to do. Those cases include, but may not be limited to:

A ship that is blockading a port must be ignoring enemy commerce, since its must stay on its station.
A ship with pursuit orders will abandon its programmed movement if it finds an enemy ship to pursue. If you wish to be certain that a ship will carry out its programmed move, then you should not give it pursuit for a contact order.
